Sad news today. They took Neighbor D off life support this morning. It looks like it is just a matter of time now. Earlier Neighbor D's sister & his two nephews were moving things out of the backyard. Sadie heard them and ran over to the fence, whining & crying. Poor thing--how do you explain to a dog that her master is not coming back? Anyway, we will be keeping her (and the parakeets) so she will have a loving home with people she knows. The picture today is one I took of her in our backyard yesterday.
Since Sadie has already been with you for a while, she was probably more upset about people in her yard. And although she'll miss Neighbor D, she will have a good life with her new family.You have my sympathy.
