Today was a very dramatic day at work. Lots of ups & downs. We had a buyer who was supposed to sign loan docs last week. Told escrow he wouldn't sign, that he was going to cancel. After talking to sales & his lender he changed his mind, said he'd sign. Then he wasn't available. Then he said OK, but by that point the notary had another appointment & couldn't get out there until very late. So the notary drove from Temecula to Paramount (that's 75 miles, folks) to sign him up at 10:30 pm. He refused to sign. Then we tried to get him to sign this morning. More drama. Had to have changes done to the loan documents. Escrow requested them at 2:00, didn't get them until after 5:00. The notary is driving out again tonight for a 10:00 pm signing. We will see what happens. . . and did I mention it's fiscal quarter end?
Oh, and of course there was the earthquake this morning, too. 5.8 centered in Chino Hills; produced a goodly rumbling shake followed by some rather fun back & forth swaying in Ontario. First time I've ever been on anything other than the ground floor during a quake (our office is on the fourth). I did enjoy it; it's been a long time since we've had a quake strong enough to feel.
Well, it's getting late & I haven't had dinner yet. Better go, I guess.
Yay, and oh, no! Let me know if I might have some pics that you don't have on Flickr and I can get them to you.
