Nothing exciting to blog about today, which I guess means more time for knitting :-) Just one thing. I have "The Secret Garden" on audiodisk. I didn't like the voice the narrator used for Mary Lennox; sounded like an 80-year-old man to me. I'm now listening to "Oliver Twist." Unfortunately it's the same narrator, and she's using the same voice for Oliver as she did for Mary.
I'm still listening to "Before Green Gables", and I wish the reader altered her voice a bit as Anne is getting older. An almost-eleven-year-old shouldn't sound like she did when she was three.
