Wedding Day!

Not mine, of course, but The Boy's. And we STILL have to buy a gift. But we checked out their wish list & we've got a few ideas. The ceremony is at 6:00 pm; they are getting married at an arboretum which in early May ought to be green & gorgeous.



Next week there is a chocolate festival in San Diego. I'd like to go, but I think Ralph is working that day. The last chocolate festival we went to was in Ventura and was NOT worth the drive at all. Hardly any booths or vendors, not much chocolate, and the most interesting part of the whole event was the petting zoo. However, San Diego is a lot closer than Ventura, plus it's at the Quail Botanical Gardens so if the festival is a bust there's still the gardens to enjoy.



Today's photo is an amusing sign we saw in Aguila, AZ. It wasn't enough to lure us in, though; we went to a nearby cafe instead. That place had by far the BEST chicken-fried steak I have ever eaten, with eggs & toast & a generous serving of tasty hashed browns. Ralph had steak & eggs and said the steak was incredibly tender & delicious.

Well, think I'll eat a little lunch & then off to gift shop.
