Can't believe it's 5:00 pm on Sunday already. Doesn't feel like we did a lot today; read a bit, spun a bit, took the car in for an oil change, had a late lunch at George's, and yet here we are at the weekend's end. Sigh.
Heh heh--Ralph has the TV hooked up to the computer, so whatever is on the monitor is also on the TV screen. I keep glancing over to see what's going on on the TV "show." Look, my blog is on TV, ha ha!
Back to George's though. I think they must have a new supplier for their ingredients. Everything tasted just a little bit different from normal. Now, before y'all panic (especially The Boy) the food actually was a little better than normal, which I would have said was impossible but there you have it. The calamari was a little bigger and a little more tender; the grape leaves on the dolmethes were also more tender; the spinach in the spanokopitas was a bit more flavorful. Even the--darn it, I can *never* remember the name, it's a dessert that looks like shredded wheat with chocolate sauce on it--was crispier and a not so cloyingly sweet. Absolutely delicious! And their new location is much larger & more open than the old spot.
And that's it. How could a day in which we did so little go by so fast?
