Had a nice, quiet day today. I went to the bookstore & bought a paperback with my 30% off coupon, plus two 50% off calendars for work (a wall calendar, and a desk calendar). Ralph had to work; the Roomies were not yet up when I left and went out for the day about 30 minutes after I returned home, so I had some blessed, blessed solitude. Knit for a bit, read a lot, played with the dogs, rubbed the cat's ears until he purred like mad, and played a couple computer games. Very restful, and a satisfactory way to spend New Year's Eve to my mind.
